    Responsibilities

    What will you be doing as Clinical Team Manager (CTM)?

     

    Working in a fast-paced, client-focused global environment, our CTMs are at the heart of our project teams and our company. In this position you will have the chance to get familiar with the dynamics of working in early phase studies, with the main focus on phase I. When you like working on multiple projects in parallel, with different clients and multiple indicational areas of drug development, the early phase pace and relatively short timelines suit you! Our clinical facility is based in Groningen, the Netherlands. The greater part of this job can be done from your home office, so even if you aren’t living in the northern part of the Netherlands, this will not be a problem. 

     

    As a CTM you will be responsible for achieving successful delivery of clinical activities at the project level by meeting internal and external contractually agreed client and regulatory requirements according to time, quality/scope and budget constraints. The CTM proactively identifies, resolves/mitigates and escalates risks and/or issues. 

    • You will serve as the primary liaison and primary point of escalation for clinical activities and team issues, interacting with the Project Manager, clients, vendors and other PRA functional areas
    • You plan and lead execution of monitoring activities in and outside the Netherlands. This includes country & site feasibility and site selection, trial set-up, study execution and trial closure)
    • You will work with the Project Manager to build and foster the client relationship and provide data as required for clinical performance metrics and project status metrics, you also review and approve monitoring visit reports
    • You will liaise with Clinical Operations Managers to resolve resource and performance issues
    • You work closely together with (In House) Clinical Research Associates (CRA’s) and will create study-specific documents such as the Clinical Management Plan, besides this you are also responsible for study-specific training of team members (e.g. CRAs)

    Qualifications

    What do you bring as CTM?

    • The successful candidate for the CTM role will have a relevant degree in health sciences (preferably) or be a licensed health-care professional (i.e., registered nurse) and at least two years’ experience as CRA
    • You have substantial experience using computerized information systems, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CTMS
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills and committed to costumer excellence
    • You have thorough understanding of clinical trial processes with in-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP
    • You are able to work from our Groningen office for at least 1 or 2 days per week, depending on your experience and training
