    Do you have several years’ experience in clinical research and at least one or two years as CRA? Do you see managing clinical studies as a challenge in which you can excel in your leadership and coordinating skills? PRA Health Sciences is looking for a Clinical Team Manager for their Early Development Services division.

     

    As a top five CRO, we have worked on 100+ marketed drugs across several therapeutic areas and conducted the pivotal or supportive trials that led to FDA and/or international regulatory approval of 45+ such drugs.

    Clinical Team Manager (32-40 hours a week)

    Responsibilities

     

    What will you be doing as Clinical Team Manager (CTM)?

     

    Working in a fast-paced, client-focused global environment, our Clinical Team Managers are at the heart of our project teams and our company. As a Clinical Team Manager you will be responsible for achieving successful delivery of clinical activities at the project level by meeting internal and external contractually agreed client and regulatory requirements according to time, quality/scope and budget constraints. The CTM leads and directs cross functional teams and understands/manages client expectations. The CTM proactively identifies, resolves/mitigates and escalates risks and/or issues. 

    • You will serve as the primary liaison and primary point of escalation for clinical activities and team issues, interacting with clients, vendors and other PRA functional areas
    • Plans and leads execution of the day to day activities for the monitoring of a clinical study
    • Reviews and approves monitoring visit reports
    • Motivates Clinical team
    • You will work with the Project Manager to build and foster the client relationship and provide data as required for clinical performance metrics and project status metrics - applying and drawing conclusions between project activities/deliverables and project metrics and initiating measures to improve metrics
    • You will liaise with Clinical Operations Managers to resolve resource and performance issues and contribute to Business Development activities participating in proposals and bid defenses as needed
    • You work closely together with (In House) Clinical Research Associates (CRA’s) and you’re responsible for preparation of the site initiation documentation

    Qualifications

    What do you bring as Clinical Team Manager?

    • The successful candidate for the Clinical Team Manager role will have a relevant degree or be a licensed health-care professional (i.e., registered nurse) and at least one or two years’ experience as CRA
    • You have substantial experience using computerized information systems, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CTMS
    • You have thorough knowledge of ICH/GCP and an awareness of local regulatory authority regulations regarding drug research and development required
    • You are capable of leading a clinical team to successful project delivery
    • You are available for 32 or 40 hours per week, and you will work a minimum of 2 office days per week in Groningen, the Netherlands
