    Responsibilities

    As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will be dedicated to one of our global pharmaceutical clients, a company that values performance, recognises merit and has a high focus on quality.     The Senior Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for contributing to the development of the strategy for Analytics, Reporting and Metrics building in line with overall Business Information Services strategy leveraging visualization tools/business intelligence platforms.  Your role will include the following:-

     

    • Responsibility for maintaining and optimising the reporting and metrics and business intelligence platform whilst ensuring that the platform meets the requirement of customers and is compliant with all applicable regulations
    • Facilitation of integrated reporting and metrics/analytics(Project performance & Quality, Clinical Trial Safety Reporting and Trial Progress)
    • Key customers/consumers internally within the global pharma company will include Medical Monitors and Central Monitoring teams but this role could support the majority of the key business units
    • Liasing, advising and negotiating with key customer groups on requirements and proposing innovative solutions to meet their analytic/reporting metric requirements
    • Contributing to initiatives that enable faster and more effective incident management and efficient change management including removing obsolete and legacy systems
    • Ensuring systems are inspection ready and providing expertise for regulatory inspection.
    • Creating a continuous improvement framework with respect to systems deployment, life cycle management and enhancements supported by greater partnership with suppliers and partners

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maths, Science or Computer Science
    • Experience working in Data warehouse platforms ideally covering program development
    • Experience with TIBCO Spotfire, R, SQL, SAS, Extract Transform Load and reporting platforms, integrated data management is preferred.
    • Proven experience in delivering system implementations yielding a positive ROI for organisations
    • Experience working within Clinical Trials or the wider Pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage but is not essential
