    Location: Taiwan

    Responsibilities

    Position overview:

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the world’s leading clinical research organisations and be part of a dynamic and growing international company. Your role as an Import Export Specialist will support our busy local office. 

     

    • Assures activities related to the sphere of responsibilities of the subdivision(s) of import / export department are performed in a timely manner in compliance with the local regulations and instructions received from the client.
    • Manages the import license / export license application (or prepares the application) preparation process in assigned subdivision(s).
    • Manages the process of importation of supplies including all approval procedures, costs estimation, communication with all parties involved into the process of transfer and customs clearance (client, sender, courier, broker etc.) in the assigned subdivision(s).
    • Communicates with regulatory authorities.
    • Communicates with clients / participates in teleconferences.
    • Prepares and submits reports to functional manager or directly to the appropriate Department (Q/A Department / Financial Department) depending on the instructions received.
    • Participates in the investigation of issues and development of problem-resolving solutions.
    • Keeping track of local regulations related to import / export procedures.
    • Ensuring that all activities performed by the assigned subdivision(s) comply to local legislation, corporate SOPs, WIs, policies, client’s instructions and recommendations.
    • Coordinates import / export activities related to purchase of materials abroad (packaging materials, electronic devices etc.).
    • Provides functional manager with suggestions related to improvement of import / export procedures.
