  • Overview

    We are looking for an experienced Functional Manager to join our existing well-structured team and manage a group of Clinical Operations Managers based across China.

     

    Working as part of our Product Registration team, you will be an integral member of the leadership team responsible for providing a broad spectrum of solutions for full service clinical development services and meeting the demands of the diverse marketplace.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities will include:

     

    • Hiring, mentoring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff to achieve business objectives and assure technical competence and compliance within their functional area; to include acting as a point of escalation when appropriate.
    • Providing leadership in the implementation of PRA’s and clients’ drug development processes, achieving management goals within the framework of the company mission, policy and philosophy.
    • Ensuring appropriate employee resources are available to meet objectives while achieving optimal performance of clinical operations staff
    • Interfacing with the local client affiliates and attending high level client meetings at a regional or global level.

    • A strong clinical operations background with a previous track record of success in a line management position, with experience of managing ‘Managers’;

    • The ability to manage a team to ensure wider delivery and the achievement of overall objectives and metrics;
    • Excellent communications skills and fluency in English and Chinese.
