    Responsibilities

    Our rapid global expansion means that the pace of work here at PRA is often fast and our people are challenged daily to maintain the highest standards of best practice. As an Account Director in our Business Development team, you will be developing and maintaining sales and business relationships with current, previous and prospective PRA clients to establish new and repeat clinical research project services provided by PRA Health Sciences.

     

    You will work cross functionally within a variety of PRA business units to assemble the best team of therapeutic experts to present at bid defences and effectively position PRA to compete for new business awards. This will include organizing bid defence prep meetings and calls with the team. Additional key responsibilities will include:

     

    • Collaborating with internal and external key stakeholders for achieving an annual sales target;
    • Identifying opportunities and differentiating PRA from other CROs;
    • Creating and implementing annual sales plans to achieve specific territory or strategic account targets for PRA;
    • Generate meetings and RFPs within the assigned territory to produce new business authorization through phone calls, email and other forms of communication.

    • Prior experience of working in business development from either a pharmaceutical company or a CRO environment.
    • Working knowledge of the CRO industry with consultative selling experience.
    • You will be educated to degree level in business or health sciences from an accredited institution, or their international equivalents.
