The Recruiter/Snr Recruiter is responsible for the delivery of Recruiting services and programs, including the identification and recruitment of individuals from outside PRA to fill open and planned positions in a timely and cost-effective manner, internal and external stakeholder management and/or working on Recruiting projects, programs, and systems.
You will be based either in our Shanghai or Beijing office and will report to the APAC Senior Talent Acquisition Manager. This position will help to support the growth of the business across Great China and more specifically:
You will be responsible for the recruiting process and the successful staffing of positions including external hiring, internal transfers and contract/ temporary resourcing; developing, implementing, and administering the recruitment programs for PRA operations; providing operational support and focus relative to the recruitment function, acting in collaboration with Managers, Directors, and VPs at specific locations or business units; working with various Management Teams to develop business and staffing requirements, and recruitment strategies and tactics; maintaining reports of recruiting activity, including projections of future activity.
You will also be required to fully utilize and maintain internal candidate, applicant, and new hire databases and systems; fill high impact market positions by identifying professional and manager level candidates for openings by making contact by telephone i.e., cold calls as needed and performing queries of company database; network through various channels to build established networks of professionals within the CRO and Pharma industry; travel (as needed) to various regional offices to work and train with members of the management team; help build staff in other business units, or leading other special recruiting projects such as volume recruiting in a particular functional area, when necessary; enter open requisition and candidate information into the company applicant database in an accurate and timely manner.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating offers with hiring managers and Human Resources; negotiating compensation potential candidates to align with PRA pay zones and the market; conducting both in-person and telephone interviews for candidates; developing and implementing effective practices for checking references of potential employees; continuously sourcing applicants for potential openings; maintaining a pipeline of qualified individuals; providing meaningful feedback on candidates to hiring managers for use in the hiring decisions; assume responsibility for initial interview scheduling; ensuring proper review and disposition of all resumes received, including submission for scanning/editing/entry into the PRA recruiting database.
