We are currently looking for a Medical Monitoring Associate for our Medical Operations Team in Mannheim, Germany.
As a Medical Monitoring Associate, you will work closely with the Medical Director and wider Medical Affairs department to provide medical guidance to investigator sites (hospitals, clinics, pharmacies etc). After completing your training, you will be well placed to provide answers to queries from physicians and nurses. Working according to relevant Standard Operating Procedures, the study protocol and Safety and Medical Management Plans, you will be responsible for the review of medical and lab reports. Given your medical expertise, investigator site staff including study nurses will seek clarification from you on patient inclusion / exclusion criteria. Tracking protocol violations, escalating issues to the Medical Director and compiling information as requested all form part of this varied and demanding role.
To be a successful candidate in this position it is preferred to bring previous experience within clinical research. Given the client-focused and fast-paced nature of our work, we are looking for a pro-active individual with a strong eye for detail. Ideally, you will be a licensed healthcare professional (registered nurse etc) or be educated to degree level in life sciences. Familiarity with medical terminology, strong organisational abilities, and a proven ability to use MS Office are skills essential to success in this role. Fluency in English is required.
