PRA Health Sciences is looking for a Project Manager Quality Control Laboratory for their Early Development Services division.


The Early Development Services (EDS) division of PRA is a global leader in providing early-phase clinical research and bio-analytical services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. One of the units of PRA EDS is the Quality Control Laboratory, located in Assen (The Netherlands) and Lenexa (Kansas, US). The Quality Control Laboratory performs analysis of (new) drugs and biomarkers in drug product formulation samples from  clinical trials world-wide using different techniques, such as UPLC-UV/DAD/Radioflow, Dissolution analysis, Disintegration analysis, and other relevant quality control analysis. Many of the applied analytical methods are developed and validated in-house or transferred from sponsors. Within our Quality Control laboratory, the department Project Management maintains client relationships and ensures that projects are compliant with requirements specifications regarding quality, timelines and budget and performed according to international regulations (GMP, GLP, FDA).



The Project Manager is responsible for the scientific relevance, timelines, quality and budget of the assigned projects. He/she will manage the project team and is the primary Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC) contact for the client and pharmacists.


What will you be doing as Project Manager?

  • Manage client contractual, organizational and relationship expectations
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to the contractual agreement (time, quality/scope, and cost deliverables)
  • Provide regular reporting on project progress  to client
  • Account management of key clients
  • Lead and direct cross-functional teams


What do you bring as Project Manager?


  • PhD degree and at least three years of experience with project management with CMC projects, preferably in Quality Control analysis
  • Reads, writes and speaks fluent English
  • Accurate, communicative, client focused, organizational talent
  • Available for 32-40 hours a week
