PRA Health Sciences is looking for a (Senior) Director Project Delivery for their Early Development Services division.

 

(Senior) Director Project Delivery Early Phase Clinical Research, fulltime

Responsibilities

The Early Development Services (EDS) division of PRA is a global leader in providing early-phase clinical research and bioanalytical services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. With a reputation built on excellence, quality and professionalism, we work with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, performing clinical research and bioanalytical trials on many of the most advanced experimental drugs and biologics in development today. As (Senior) Director Project Delivery you own a client relationship on an operational level, are involved on a strategic level , and will oversee successful delivery of project timelines and quality data whilst maintaining project profitability. You are responsible for achieving functional goals in accordance with the company mission and objectives, to ensure delivery of projects and technical competence and compliance.

 

What will you be doing as (Senior) Director Project Delivery?

 

  • May be assigned as member of a Client Governance Committee
  • Will assure a consistent client experience in working with all global EDS Clinical Units
  • May be involved in implementing client specific processes
  • Review and approve project proposals for early phase clinical research studies
  • Ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations
  • Ensure oversight and maximize performance of project team’s planning, execution and risk management
  • Will be involved in mentoring / coaching project team members
  • Measure project progress, risks and trends using a metrics and KPI approach to achieve project milestones delivery
  • Ensure project scope is managed by the project team and that out of scopes are identified in a timely fashion with the clients
  • Is the first point of escalation (internal and external) for resolution of issues and conflicts and is responsible for further escalation to Senior Management levels as needed

Qualifications

What we ask of you:

  • Master’s, PhD or MD degree in a (bio) medical direction
  • A minimum of 8 years Project Management experience, including demonstrated experience with clinical project development processes, financial management tools, regulatory compliance (ICH/GCP), clinical data management and project scheduling
  • Experience with early phase clinical trials and research is a big preference
  • You are client-focused, result- and quality-oriented, decisive
  • Strong in organizational- and communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong personality who is able to direct a team without being hierarchical superior

This role could also be filled from our Utrecht office in the Netherlands, or our office in Berlin, Germany. This will depend on the candidate we finally select of course.
