Responsibilities

We are seeking a customer focused IT Support Technician with a dedication to continuous improvement and excellence. As well as being the main contact for issues and projects involving the local infrastructure, you will also work closely with colleagues in the EMEA region to provide support to remote and also local users.

 

Additional responsibilities will include:

 

  • Assisting with Projects, System Rollouts and Office Moves, Openings and Expansions

  • Installing and maintaining PC hardware and software to ensure use of standard configurations among locations
  • Providing system administration for the help desk system
  • Communicating with end-users on related ticket resolution
  • Participating in the implementation of trouble handling procedures to minimize service outages
  • Implementing patches and upgrades to fix operations system problems or vulnerabilities
  • Coordinating repairs with vendors

Qualifications

You are:

 

A strong communicator, systems savvy and detail driven.

  • Previous experience supporting end-users with computer-related issues and provisioning in a professional environment.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft products such as Active Directory, Exchange admin, Office365, and Windows.
  • Experience in Incident, Service Request and Asset Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including good documentation process.
  • An undergraduate degree or its international equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related area. Work experience in Systems in a business environment may be considered equivalent. 
  • Professional certifications preferred in one or more of the following areas: MCSE, MCP, MCSA, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCENT/CCT/CCNA, etc. – preferred.
