PRA Health Sciences is a top five global CRO.  We have worked on over 100 marketed drugs across several therapeutic areas and conducted the pivotal or supportive trials that led to FDA and / or international regulatory approval of over 45 such drugs.

At PRA Health Sciences, providing innovative solutions for our clients is what we do.  From full service clinical development to the pioneering Embedded Solutions model, PRA provides a broad spectrum of solutions that meet the demands of a diverse marketplace.

At PRA Health Sciences, borders do not create boundaries.  PRA’s success is dependent upon our ability to attract and retain a talented team of diverse professionals.  Our growing workforce is comprised of over 13,000 employees, spanning 13 time zones across six continents and who speak more than 30 languages – yet operate in unison as one worldwide PRA Health Sciences community.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Statistician to join our expanding global Statistics group.  As an integral part of the Biometrics team, working in partnership with sites, programmers and medical writers, you will play a functional lead role in the design, analysis, and reporting on programs of complex individual studies.  Our Biostatisticians focus on statistics and statistics alone; concentrating on statistical planning, oversight and the provision of inferential analyses across all phases of development in a wide variety of therapeutic areas. You will develop statistical analysis plans and statistical sections of protocols. You will also review and advise on the development of protocols, case report forms and clinical study reports.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Acting as an unblinded Biostatistician for interim analyses.
  • Performing senior reviews of statistical reports, statistical sections of clinical study reports, and integrated statistical and clinical reports.
  • Mentoring junior Biostatisticians through our structured graduate training programme.

The successful candidate will have a MS and/or PhD degree in Statistics or Biostatistics with expertise in multiple statistical areas. You will have demonstrable statistical experience in a pharmaceutical industry-related environment with demonstrated ability to plan, supervise, implement, and monitor the statistical processes for complex clinical trials. You must have experience of sponsor interactions when leading complex projects.

So if you have excellent statistical and communication skills, the ability to contribute statistical expertise to the design, analysis and reporting of global clinical studies, an MSc in Statistics (or equivalent) and the desire to work for a company that recognises the importance of technical excellence then we would love to hear from you.

Together with a competitive salary, PRA will offer a comprehensive range of benefits and an excellent working environment.  As we continue to expand, there will be career opportunities on a truly global scale.

PRA is an EEO/AA employer and is committed to providing opportunities to minorities, women, veterans and individuals with disabilities.
